Genie From a Bottle Sculpture, 1968
I made this sculpture in 1968
at Anaheim Plastics. Made from
acrylic purgings, in view it looks
like a Genie coming out of a
bottle. Turned sideways, it
could be an eagle (?) in flight.

for Husky bicycle company. Many
do not know that these were for
Husky.
Primary Picture in Day Glo color
known as ARC YELLOW, though
it definitely is orange. The other deck
is a combination of colors or as
known in the trade, varigated.

Rocket Red, Horizon Blue.
PS–The first ones I made were
so new that there was no engraving
on the tooling. So we put a sticker
on the bottom or underside.

Plastics. Yellow, Red, and Blue.
I also used a sonic separator and
oriented the caps so I could put the
caps on the end of the sticks.
And it was the first time I ever
used a commercial Bostch staple
machine for these boxes.
Whamo had basically copied the
design from the Whirley Whirler
made by the the Whirley
Corporation.
